Kaleidoscope Occupational Therapy is dedicated to providing high quality services to the Brisbane area of Wynnum / Manly.
A GP referral is only required if needing to access medicare funding for appointments and we are able to provide services under the Medicare
Chronic Condition Management Plan. Appointments are conveniently scheduled at either your kindy, in our clinic space or even sometimes your home. When we come to you, travel time is routinely charged for all appointments at our standard travel rate.

If you or your child have Self Managed or Plan Managed NDIS funds, we can support you.
Private health cover:
Many private health companies provide cover for occupational therapy services. Get in touch with your provider to check whether cover is available.
Private:
Clients may choose to pay privately for occupational therapy services.
Medicare:
You or your child can access Occupational Therapy services via the Chronic Condition Management Plan. See your GP to find out whether you will be eligible and to obtain a referral. This plan allows you to access 5 x rebated sessions with an allied health practitioner.
Hourly Rates:
Our hourly rates are as follows:
NDIS: $193.99 / hour
Private: $215 / hour
Medicare: $215 / hour
Kindy Screening Assessment
Tailored Service
Information is gathered from caregivers and teachers.
Your child will engage in a fun 45 minute screening assessment conducted in small groups of 2 children. You will receive a brief written summary with recommendations to further support your child's development.
Screening Assessment Fees:
NDIS: $219.63
Private: $245
Medicare: $245
General Kids OT Assessment & Therapy
Fun and meaningful
Assessments are be conducted over 1-2 sessions and your reporting needs can be discussed directly with your therapist. For comprehensive assessments, a parent feedback session is recommended and charged at our hourly rate.
Therapy sessions with your child can be individual or in small groups. These sessions are tailored to the needs of your child and family. Standard therapy sessions are 50 minutes length and allow for an additional 10 minutes for record keeping. These sessions are charged at the hourly rate.
Shorter therapy sessions can also be arranged to meet the needs of your family.
Parent Support
Support for you
Sometimes our most effective work is done directly with parents. We support you in your parenting role to learn about your child's individual needs so that you can better support them. A small change to the home routine or environment can often create a positive shift for the whole family. Sometimes only 1-2 sessions are needed to help you feel confident to move forward.

Reporting
Informative and succinct
Keeping the rest of the team informed of your child's care is paramount. Any additional reports, letters or calls you require will be charged at our hourly rate.
